Satisfied from Leo's explanation that Fezz and Julius were safe, and also feeling he was done talking, Sheila roughly grabbed Leo by the wrist and began dragging him away from the group. "We need to talk. In private."

@Tombraiders:

"My knowledge is outdated by two hundred years. Do not ask me where to find these people. As for reforms... maybe try to find something better than a hereditary monarchy, if that's possible. Ask some wiser men than yourself about running the country."

Leo went along with her, not having a reason to not do so.

Once she felt that the two were a sufficient distance from the group (far enough that she didn't figure the others would hear shouting- Though she did not account for the echo enhancing effects of caves), she stopped and turned to face Leo. "Leo... When that door slammed shut behind you, I just..." Sheila sighed, trying to put into words how she felt. It wasn't easy. "I was worried you were trapped inside and that you were going to die. And really, you got lucky that nothing happened in there. You're being too reckless. I want you to be more careful."

Seeing that the late Emperor was fading, Fezz had no other questions. The scholar bowed.

"I have no more questions, Emperor Lionheart. Thank you for your help and giving us hope that we can fix this mess. I hope you have a pleasant and restful sleep, should things fare well I will return later and inform you of what has happened. Perhaps we could even speak a bit more of length about the magic wars. I promise you this, I will have better news on my return."

Julius saw the ghost was fading out while Fezz spoke, and as he did suddenly remember one final thing...

"Also before you go could you PleaseLetUsOutFirst?"

Fezz faltered in his bow, almost pitching forward onto the ground with what Julius said. "Ohyesthatwouldalsobeverynice!"

Alec let his arm fall down and he slumped as he looked upwards, considering what Ciera said.
: "Ugh... She's right. I just... Need to think."
The bard quietly shadowed away, further off towards the entrance of the cave.

As Ciera sat at the cave entrance, she spotted Alec coming out her way. She smiled, and patted the ground next to her.

"Here, come sit down. I know that you've been through a lot today. We can talk about it if you want, or we can talk about... other things? I just... I mean... You know I had stuff I wanted to say to you but you also had questions for me, but if you don't want to talk about that stuff right now, I'd completely understand. There's been a lot today. I mean... We fought against the rebellion, and Leo almost died, and Julius is apparently royal blood according to the ghost of the first Emperor and... yeah."

: "Of all the people... Of anyone, why would it be him?"
Alec sighed as she shook his head, squatting but not quite sitting on the ground Ciera indicated.
: "It's just... what the hell does that make of all this? We've got a rebellion in shambles, an empire that's getting torn apart by a corrupt church, and now a naive kid with royal blood? What does this make of everything I've done over the last few years?"

Ciera hesitated and then placed a gentle arm around the bard.

"Us... Us killing Matilda doesn't mean the rebellion won't succeed. If anything... The events from today help our cause, don't they? We have a legitimate heir to put on the throne now. We can talk to Duke Yonn. I'm sure he'll still support us. And... and Julius and Fezz probably found the Crown Blade. I mean... Fyra can't blame someone who royal blood for taking it, right? So... So that means that we can have him claim the throne. And from there we can take down the church. And... at least he'll have good intentions. He is a good person from the times I've talked to him. Yeah he wants to be a hero but... This is his chance, right? He can end slavery, help restore the kingdom, give rights to the poor and oppressed. But... We would have never gotten here without your work. If it wasn't for you, the rebellion wouldn't have gotten as far as it did, we all might have never met or might not have survived this long. Your work still matters. And I bet you can still do more! You have contacts, right? You could spread the word that a true heir has been found and he's a supporter of the people. A member of the rebellion. Surely that would do good."

Alec sighed.
: "Maybe. I don't exactly-..."
Glancing at Ciera and then looking out in the distance, he apparently took his mind off the issue for that moment.
: "Hm... I'd never think I would say this, but I'm tired. I've been running around for years now, doing all this masquerading and the like. I like a good ribbing, but for this long, and with this much at stake, it's exhausting."
: "Once or twice I considered just hunting down my folk's ship and just going back. Apologizing to them and waiting for all this to sort itself out." Alec sat on that last sentence for a moment, then chuckled derisively at himself and added, "Though, dear Mother would never let me off the hook for basically single-handedly devastating her trade."

"No, you can't leave! You can't!"

She blushed, and looked down at the ground.

"I mean... Of course... Of course you could leave. But... I... and others I'm sure would miss you. You're important to the team. You're... You're important to me..."

Candy had found a nice - but cold - rock to take a nap on, worn out by all the fighting and unnecessary death.

: "Phew. After being so plot-important for a little while, it's good to take a rest and let other people take charge."

: "All depends on how this 'Prince' Julius takes to his heritage. I am not serving under a kid whose sense of justice seems to only run off of legends and telltale. Sure, the legends can hold truth, but they don't always hold the whole truth. More often than not, history only remembers the best parts, as I regularly saw back in the day..."
Alec opened an eye to glance at Ciera.
: "Pff, what? I didn't say I would explicitly stop you or anyone from tagging along if I ever did."
