"Apologies if I interrupt, but I think someone else is coming from that other tunnel." Ram conveyed when he got near others. Charles quickly took his horse south.

Fezz walked up to (13,3) and took off his right glove, giving the wall a ginger rub with his thumb. Taking a step back and replacing the glove, he inspected the wall in greater detail. Its not entirely sure if the man recognized what was happening behind him.

"Marvelous. So well preserved too... No obvious signs of damage, I can even feel the old wards and read the inscriptions. Absolutely wonderful." The historian spoke to himself quietly, digging around in his robes before bringing up a thin book and a small leather pouch. From the pouch, he produced a piece of pointed charcoal.

The scholar concentrated as he jotted down notes, looking from the walls to the door to its protector and back to his book occasionally, his eyes drinking it all in and his hand transcribing. "Shame its hidden away so, its truly a treasure of the world. Such beautiful mosaics... Simple, yet full of so much meaning."

Cyra was watching the place, having little say in the matters the others had with the now-safe commander barring the way.

Leo thumped the end of his heal staff against the ground to emphasize his point. To his right, a hard stone wall; just a step forward and to his left, a seemingly bottomless chasm. Matilda and her forces would have to get through him to get to his friends and the tomb, and the environs meant perhaps three at most could attack him at a time, considering those longbows. He was certain he could withstand that much, and his confident glare probably told Matilda that.

"Now do yourself a favor. Waste neither your time nor mine, and leave. You are not worthy of what you seek, either in this place or with your rebellion."
