: "Miss Fyra, if three of us were to go in and find the Crown Blade, theoretically... who, out of everyone you know, would you put on the seat of the Emperor? It's okay, no one except us can hear out here."

Alec shook his head.
: "Apologies, our group tends to love idle gossip relating to our current job. Humor him if you wish." Alec turned around to look at the rest of the group, "Lockpicks and the like, huh?"
: "Duster, Classy-mask, gotta talk with you two for a second." Alec took a couple steps toward Fezz and Julius, waving them towards him.

Unfortunately, Fyra has a good ear and ain't a fool.

"Oh... Oh so THAT'S why you want the Crown Blade! You want to dethrone the Emperor! His rule is not an enlightened one, but decapitating the Empire in such time of crisis is the last thing I will allow." She took on combat posture.

"This better be the correct map. I'm fucking done wasting my time in these mountains. Six days is enough. Next time we loot a manor, I'm going to take everything. Damned servants couldn't keep quiet... One last check and we're back to Kretos, Crown Blade or not. Yonn can go search it himself if he is so inclined. Now, let me have a drink." Matilda uncorked a waterskin and took a swig of her water.

"But that doesn't end the war! Even if the Emperor himself is not corrupt, there's still something going on here. You said it yourself. If we leave, we'll still be hunted by the church. And next time they decide to attack you, there may be no one to save you. Please. There has to be something that we can do to work this out. Please. You have to believe me when I say we just want to help fix things. Things are broken on both sides of this war. Neither side is right. The church is corrupt, yes, but the rebellion is too. Please."

"And? I shall stay at this side. My... friend, Eul, tried to be reason with the third party, or so I heard from the reports, and what it have gotten him? He is dead. Gutted and fed to ravens as the rebel leaders laughed over the scene..." She have gotten quiet, unsure what have made her stray from the talk so much.

"Besides, I have said that Crown Blade is not here. It means you have no actual reason anymore to enter the tomb. Leave at once, please."

Ciera seemed close to tears almost.

" But... If what you say is true. If there is no treasure worth taking in there... Perhaps... at least allow my friend to look inside the tomb? He is a historian, and the thought of just being able to stand inside the tomb has made him beyond happy these past few days. Please. If you would just allow that... in exchange for us saving you from the church?"

"If you stop saying 'please' every sentence, as an added bonus. You should grow some spine, little girl. Allright, I shall let your three companions enter. But the moment I see any loot in their hands, I shall kill you as punishment. There will be no other negotiations. Now give me a moment; I've set an elaborate spell on this door and it will take time to render it inactive."

: "Commander Fyra, I am sorry about Eul..."
: "While our client does desire the Blade to replace the Emperor and fracture the rebel's power base, that does not mean we are beholden to it. Our objectives, on the other hand, have us merely looking to uncover the truth behind the Church's involvement with this civil war and why they are looking to disrupt the Imperial court, and moreover, why they are hunting us specifically. We have no personal interest in the Blade. Hell, the friend our fly-girl here has mentioned has been practically tripping over himself with the idea of finding out more."

[Haspen]

Fyra glanced at Alec.

"Your apologies are worthless and I'm not interested who is hunting you down. I'm allowing you entry on a whim and because your friend here asked nicely again. So please be quiet and let me work now."

Alec bowed.
: "As you wish."
Raising himself back up, he threw an irritated glare at Candy.
