: "Efa..."

He had no choice.

: "Ciera! Grifen! Stop! We can't just hurt Efa's sister if this is really her. She's just a lil' girl. She's probably been brainwashed. I mean, even though MY brothers really are evil, I'm not going to turn on them that easy! There's always some chance for redemption if we'd all join in. If you don't put down your weapons right now, I'll..."

Candy turned to Miguel.

: "Sir Miguel... once Grifen and Ciera attack, if Efa's sister isn't killed, could you rescue Efa?"

"We *gave* her a chance and she used it to shoot Efa! We can't ignore the fact that she's acting as our enemy! I'm sorry but there isn't another option."

Candy shook his head and balled his fist. He had a bad feeling Ciera was right, but...

: "I won't believe it. If you don't stop, I'll heal her. If I can't heal her, and you won't stop... then... then... I'll hurt you! I would go against Fairy law for Efa."

"... Do what you need to do. I won't stop you from attacking me for this. I accept the consequences of my actions."

: "Guys, stop! This is bad enough as it is..." The nomad girl's expression was downcast.

: "I agree! Let's all stop and take a moment to think before we kill someone who doesn't need it. Efa I can heal, but riddling her with arrows..."

"We *have* thought it through. Just... I'm sorry. But we can't stop."

: "Don't you get it? This is the whole reason we're in this big mess! Remember when we met you, Ciera? General Eul had gotten a forged letter that turned him against us, and acting on it, he ended his owned life and the lives of over a dozen good people! If we kill so indiscriminately then we're no better than the people we're now trying to stop from gaining the throne."

: "Er, Candy? Ain't gonna argue with the killin' part, but I thought it was that Eul fella who sent a fake letter to Yonn. He lured us out on purpose."
