@Leo:

"I don't deal in medicines. The closest apothecary is down the road towards the docks." The man stood up and moved to adjacent room, and brought several staves with him.

"Of course, I have several of the cheapest, weakest healing staves. Two hundred each. I also have this Mend staff, for half thousand coins, and this Antidote staff. Two hundred as well." He then scratched his head, looking at a staff with swirly pink gemstone on top.

"I would offer this Sleep staff too... but it is faulty. I'm not the best when it comes to battle magic. You can have it for fifty coins."

@Maible:

There were biographies of each and every Troian Emperor (a mandatory set of books in every bookstore). Then there were books about Troy Lionheart, his rise to power, some books about various stages of Succession Wars, lots of books on Dragon Cult, several copies of 'Danger of Free Magic' in hard cover, and let's not forget few books about rebellions in the Empire, both recent and from the past.
There were several romance books, about same amount of stories about spies and swordsmen adventures, plus few books full of vulgar, sexual jokes and stories, and of course, at least fifty copies of 'Crimson Affairs of the Twelve Siblings', each in red cover with intricate golden decorations on the edges.

Efa actually looked a bit shocked at that one, before recovering, mostly at least, and going for a comeback.
:"...Well. I'm afraid that "gong farmer" is a description that applies to every court title in this empire. Anyway, how would you know about how boring bodyguard business is if you just went and sat down with us now?"

: "I'm just speaking from experience, being paid to stand around a house all day isn't exactly glorious. And I'd like to inform you that most courts wallow within their own filth, they don't tend to shovel it out, so in a way, you are a step above them."

After thinking about it, Leo pointed out two staves.

"I'd like a Heal staff, and the Antidote staff, please. That's four hundred, correct?"

He started sorting through his coins for the appropriate amount.

(I was also going to take the sleep staff, but then I was like 'I might need an inventory space open ._.')

:"Well, as much as I'd love to bandy words all day, I do have some things to buy."
Look for a bow shop.

@Leo:

"Yes, that will be four hundred."

The old man took the coins and rods and handed the two staves to Leopoldo.

@Efa:

Efa found two shops; one was dealing in bows and longbows, other in crossbows and bowguns.

@Sakura:

"Oh, it is you." The greying healer said and then stood up, handing Sakura the price list; written with chalk on a black board.

Efa nods satisfiedly, and strides into the longbow shop.

"Thank you very much. May your store do well today,"

Leo said with a small bow before making the exchange and leaving the shop. While he was wondering what to do, he happened upon Sheila looking pensive outside the tavern they were in earlier. That was a bit troublesome. She was more of a do-er than a thinker, in his experience.

"Sheila? Is everything all right?"

@Efa:

There was a small selection of recurve bows and longbows on the display, and the board with prices was standing at the side of the counter, perfectly visible to anyone entering:

Quote
Iron Bow: 200
Steel Bow: 400
Short Bow: 400
Iron Longbow: 300
Steel Longbow: 500
Steel Yari: 750

Efa stared at the sign annoyedly, then rushed out, going to try and find Leo.

Leo was, of course, standing by Sheila, who apparently hadn't heard him.

"Efa. Is something bothering you?"

The archer looked annoyed. Leo sighed inwardly. It was hard enough traveling with four beautiful young women given his position in life, and also because of him being a priest they often went to him with their problems. It wasn't that he minded giving advice or counseling, he just didn't want to be caught between them whenever they weren't getting along.
