"Dad, mind your manners! Grifen's a healer, she's just looking out for you."

"Anyway, I made some friends and we got roped into fighting the empire. So here we are."

"I think there's a bit more to it than that, Sheila."

"Anyway, I'll take a look at your leg later. Grifen is talented with herbal medicine and I'm a skilled healer. Between the pair of us we should be able to fix your leg. Or make you a stereotypical pirate captain. One or the other."

[Xanmyral]

Taking a long, deep breath Fezz wavered for a moment before slumping against the wall now that there weren't any visible enemies.  Just... Just a moment of rest. He was partially thankful he couldn't quite see the results of his actions on the other side of the wall, the sounds weren't too inspiring.

Sheila turned to look at Leo, confused, then put a hand over her mouth, shocked. He didn't mean- Oh god. She could only hope it wasn't so serious as that.

[Swordstar]

"Wow, so that's your father, Sheila? So there's you two, and then there's mop head, er, Leo and his brother... Any other family groups I should know about? The old guy on the horse isn't your grandfather, is he Grif?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Leo looked at Sheila.

"I'm just joking! Am I not allowed to?"

Sheila looked at the pegasus rider and quirked an eyebrow at her. "What are you talking about? Leo doesn't have any brothers." Sheila socked Leo in the arm.

"That wasn't funny. We almost never had healers on the ship y'know, it wouldn't be the first time we've seen someone we know lose a limb." Sheila lowered her voice so that only Leo would be able to hear. "C'mon Leo, this is my dad! Try to make a good impression, don't joke about cutting his leg off."

[Sirus]

: "Ha! This fella ain't related to me!"

: "But hold on, what's this about preacher having a brother?"

[Swordstar]

"Huh? Then why'd he call that light magic guy brother last battle?"

[SeriousConcentrate]

Leo tanked the punch without even flinching.

"It's true. Fezz is my twin brother."

He turned back to Sheila, voice also lowered.

"Maybe I'm not happy about the fact he kidnapped a little girl from her mother's home and forced her into a life of piratehood. I'm grateful for the fact it allowed us to meet, but I still don't like that."

[Haspen]

"Good impression? Why would he-" Renault blinked.

"Sheila do you have something to tell me? I think I spoke with you how I feel about Imperials and their priestly consorts-" He taxed Leo harshly.

"At least I don't parade in clothes bought by poor peasant's tithes."

Sheila was buffeted by a whirlwind of pertinent information. "Wait, Fezz is your twin? Wh- Hey now, he's my dad too, and I could've gon- Dad! You can't say stuff like that, Leo's a good guy!"

[Xanmyral]

Fezz perked up from the distant conversation, looking out from the building to see the group talking. Did he hear that right? Well, guess the cat's out of the bag now, as the phrase goes. Well, not like they weren't planning on breaking the news eventually anyway, he had just hoped it wouldn't of been in the middle of a pitched fight.

Seeing how the conversation is escalating though, the historian couldn't help but feel a little relief on not being involved.

[Sirus]

: "Wait, Fezz is...whaaaa?!" She had no time to reflect on that shocking twist at the moment though, since there seemed to be an argument brewing.

: "Whoa whoa, c'mon ya two. We can't start fightin' each other when there's all these mean fellas in armor tryin' to kill us."

[Swordstar]

"I... Was I not supposed to say that? I didn't realize it was a secret..."
