Cyra was quite knowledgeable of these kinds of mishaps.

Said foreknowledge did not stop her from being all nervous and embarrassed at the implication.

"A-ah, I was just thinking of supporting you, Captain. I guess I can't yet support a man of your calibre."

How do people rescue others like this!?
...Did I just say something with innuendo?
...Why am I thinking like this?

In passing the time, Cyra just leaned against the wall, hoping to find something to help the ol' sailor later on.

Hold!

"Do not worry, Miss Cyra. With age, you will be able to handle even the largest of men." He grinned at her and then looked through the small barred hole in the door. He noticed Fezz and whistled at him.

"You, clothed one, I assume you're not with the Empire? What would you want in exchange for our release?"

At the whistle and voice Fezz looked around in confusion, until his sight settled on the eyes peering at him from the gloom of a cell door. At the question the historian looked at what remained of the general and then back to the prisoner.

"...No, we're not with the Empire. We're clearing the docks to deny them a foothold on Kretos." He didn't think it would be wise to mention more.

At the mention of release, Fezz looked very hesitant. Maybe there was a good reason this guy was imprisoned? What if he's an insane axe murderer? What if he was just an Empire dissident? Deciding that no matter what crimes this guy might of done, Yonn would be here shortly anyhow to lock him back up anyway if it was for a valid reason.

"Can you fight? We still need to clear the dock, and we won't turn down an extra pair of arms. If you can't, well, I wouldn't want you to get hurt in the crossfire. Duke Yonn will be here shortly though, I can tell him you're here and he can see about releasing you." The scholar offered, leaving out that Duke Yonn would be consulted more for the as to if he should get released.

"Well, yes, I gather miss Cyra here is a swordfighter and personally I can handle axes and swords. But we're prisoners, so of course we have no weapons with us."

:"I have a pack of knives that have long served me well, if you wish to aid us. Prisoner's or no, you were being guarded by an Imperial. This clearly means that you are therefore against the Imperial cause and our with our cause. Presently hold and take a step back from the door. We shall have in splintered pieces presently."

Cyra took a look at the remains of the guard, and was glad that he was armored enough to...cover the more graphic parts of the anatomy, like innards.

Or somehow we just get caught because of something I forget in the current time, and are guarded by an Imperial seemingly associated with-...

Right. Overthinking. I'd still prefer being paid for this for a long voyage overseas...and all. Dear goodness these dreams.

"If you need help, we're in, but I doubt that guard was the only one here. I suspect this is somewhat of a riot or uprising?"

"...Of sorts. I've lost track." The historian said to the second voice. "Alright, we'll see to releasing you. We don't have keys but maybe the guard did. If not, then please stand away from the door."
