With only a slight glance behind, he turned himself to the battlefield more readily... Though with that, Matilda's comments then somehow left him more tense than before.
: "Er, Matilda, you're getting a little too into this."

"Hell yeah! You better run! Now throw down your weapons and surrender! I'll personally guarantee your safety!" Sheila turned to Fezz and flashed him a smile and a thumbs up with her off hand. "They sure changed their tune quick, eh? I'm gonna see if I can get to the commander, try and talk some sense into him. Alec, wanna see what you can do about helping me get a little closer?"

"I got a lucky shot in and split a guy's head. This being right after I'd threatened the lot of them and having mentioned that I chopped a guy in half today... They decided that fighting me wouldn't be good for their health. I guess they do have a bit of sense between them."

At Sonja's question, Sheila looked a bit crestfallen. "I wouldn't count on it. Their commander isn't retreating, and that ballistae is still shooting, so this isn't a win just yet. They're just all freaking the hell out. Hopefully they'll actually run instead of forming up, but I'm gonna see if I can put a stop to this before they get back to work."

With the aid from the kind priest, Miguel spurred his horse onward, keeping his knife collection close and his light iron lance slung across his back just in case. The brutality of the conflict was getting worse. He wheeled his horse in the direction enemy soldiers and raised his hand in the air with as much dominance as he could muster in his advanced age.

: "Dear friends! Cease this conflict at once and lay down your arms; erst my young companion's axe thirst for more blood. I am a man of Garaz, of the Empire! If you continue to fight, I cannot guarantee your safety!"
