Remember that you are all currently chained together. We'll say... by your ankles. There's a few feet leeway, but you're not going to be able to reach the lever or ladder as-is.

Japa - Pull the levers on either side of the slanted wall and open the cargo doors. Convince everyone to move towards one of the two lever as one entity.
Rolls a... 4
You look to HFS and nod, taking up position along the left lever the others shuffle up behind you. With the throw of a thumbs up, you slam your lever, pulling with all your might - gears grind, and the wall quickly falls away until it drops off at a 45 degree angle into open sky. A chill comes over you as the pressure equalizes, and a great gust of air threatens to pull you from what you are now going to call the "hanger" - you grab more tightly at the lever, but your grip slips in reponse to a sudden tighteningof the chain on one leg, and you lose your footing, crashing to the ground as you start to slide. Your fingers fight to find purchase at the edge of the doorway, your feet bracing against the (now) bottom edge of the indentation, as your chain tightens and then... snaps, leaving you securely positioned on the door... for the moment. There's still a pull, a tightness on your other leg, but it's significantly less.

HFS - Towards the lever we go.
Rolls a... 5
You look to Japa and nod, taking up position along the right lever the others shuffle up behind you. He throws a thumbs up, and you pull on your lever with all your might - the door opens, and a strong, sudden gust of wind threatens to blow you out. Your chains tighten, and you hug the lever - even as the gust fades, there's still the pull of your... friends? Not quite... acquaintances, threatening to drag you over the edge.

SometStupidGuy - To the lever since everyone else is doing it. Woo, peer pressure. :v

You follow along the others for a moment, but your attention is quickly distracted looking into the shopping mart portal. Mmm... that food looks delic- oh god, what's happening! There's a loud grinding sound, a rush of cold air, and the roar of propellers as the ground pulls away. you hear something snap, and the chain from one of your ankles goes loose, until you find yourself hanging upside down from one leg looking out at a field of balloons, zeppelins, and helicopter devices, holding up platforms and buildings and ships. It's crazy, man. Crazy shit going on out here.


wolfchild - Force everyone towards the lever
Rolls a... 3
It takes some doing, since Cheesecake resists your attempts to wake him up, but after a few moments you shrug your shoulders and (with Krath's help) you drag him over to the lever wall, giving HFS and Japa access to the levers.. A few seconds later he gets sucked out the open doors and you're clawing at the metal until the front half of your body slides over the edge and... stops, at around your waste, both ankle chains tightening, one attached to Japa and one to HFS.

Krath - Towards the lever, then.

It takes some doing, since Cheesecake resists your attempts to wake him up, but after a few moments you shrug your shoulders and (with wolfchild's help) you drag him over to the lever wall, giving Japa and HFS access to the levers. A few seconds later he gets sucked out the open doors and you're clawing at the metal as your own legs begin to slide over the edge - you were chained to Cheesecake, and he went right over the edge, following SomeStupidGuy's lead, as soon as the doors opened. Suddenly your slide is halter as you are pulled sideways - the other leg, still attached to HFS, has it's chain pulled tight. You find yourself with your crotch being pulled against the edge of the door, one leg 45 degrees in the air, the other pointed straight down and supporting the weight of two people. It is not a comfortable position to be in.
Krath takes one point of damage.

Cheesecake - ...
Rolls a... 2
You are rudely awoken from your nap to note that your legs are currently being pulled into a 90 degree split and your body is flopping about in the open air. What the hell is going on!?!?
Cheescake takes one point of damage.

You take a moment to enjoy the beautiful view, before you decide to climb back up. At which point the whole world turns again and you find yourself in falling freely, robbing you of breath and of any context within which "climb back up" has a meaning. You have a moment of shock when the jerk of the chain crashes to other jerks into you, but you successfully maintain control in the ensuing tangle of limbs, and realize you're about to impact a brightly colored green, blue, and white balloon larger than the ship you just barreled out of, and you're still attached to quite a few other jerks.

HFS - Try and help pull everyone back up.
Rolls a... 3
You try to pull everyone back up by wrapping the chain around the lever mechanism, bracing yourself, turning and pulling on the chains. At which point Krath promptly disconnects it from himself and disappears over the edge. Well, you help wolfchild back up, anyway.

wolfchild - CLaw back to safety
Rolls a... 4
You freak out for a few moments, trying to turn yourself around and get a grip on something, when suddenly Krath goes flying past you with a surprised look on his face. Suddenly, you get jerked back a bit, find some purchase on the door, turn around and hightail back up the chain to the stable floor of the vessel, taking HFS's hand as he pulls you the last foot or so. You fall to your knees, breathing heavily - that was close!

Cheesecake - Use light from flashlight and try to burn the ground so that I continue falling.

Well, there's no ground below you, but at least you aren't being pulled in two different directions anymore! Now you're in freefall! And screaming! You decide now is the perfect time to really give those screaming muscles a workout, so that's what you do.

Krath - Rebel against the ties that bind me down, MAAAAAAAAAN.

You reach down, and with great strength rip off one of the chains that bind your legs. Your celebration is cut short by the realization that you started with the leg connected to those still securely within the ship, which also turned out to be the only thing holding you to the ship, and the weight of the two fellows hanging from your other leg quickly jerks you out of the craft and into freefall. You wee yourself a little bit before beginning to scream.

Japa - Suddenly learn how to sky dive.
Rolls a... 1
You decide you are terrified of heights and that learning to skydive is a suicidal, absolutely terrible idea. Instead, you cling to the lever and close your eyes until the screaming stops.
Japa has uncovered a Hidden Phobia: Heights - Anything but a critical success on a task related to potentially long drops will prove impossible, causing him to cower or flee instead!
