If psychers are involved, Commissar participation is compulsory. also as to the perils thing, the commissars have a solution for that, a final solution :P

(( Hells no, one of them starts to lose it and Wolfs Commissar will get a job to do. If I get them I'm having those 2 Commissar babysit them. I'll only actually use the psykers if I get any if it gets really messy. Odds are we'll face superior numbers of badly armed and badly trained men in which case 21 Troopers and 2 Commissar are going to chew them up and spit them out.

Thats why I wanted 2 commissar, if I get 2 psykers it's 1 to babysit each of them.

Do we have any tech priests in the regiment btw?))

OK hunt will get 2 Commissars, Unless I come along with him and I will split the rest between guerrilla's and drops, they will all be under orders to do their best to demoralize the enemy (Who will at best be ex guard, should not be hard for commissars to get em scared)

I've made a little edit to the regiment. You now have some techpriests, Medicae Squads and I have added the Scout Squads for the Guerrilla Battalion.

Can I have the intel reports? I'd like to know what we're up against, for, you know, make a plan. Besides the usual "infantry drop in, strike weak points and secure a path for the tanks, which then go in guns blazing and obliterate enemy hardpoints, all the while under artillery support".

Imperial Intelligence says that Vascus Secundus had an extremely high industrial production that was being put to good use in a Crusade in a nearby sector, however it hasn't been under attack for quite long, and no Imperial Guard regiment has been raised from that world in quite some time, so the rebels are well armed, but probably not well trained.

The manufactorum you are attacking supplies las packs and autocannon shells to the rebels, and it is well defended. The enemy numbers the equivalent to 3 line infantry regiments, but they lack heavy support other than man portable heavy weapons. The Crusade's High Command wants all manufactorums to be able to start producing for the Crusade once the rebellion is crushed so damage must be minimal, both to the manufactorum and to the civilian population (reports suggest that they don't know they are going against the Imperium). Quite strange for the Imperial Guard, but orders are orders.

The manufactorum has 3 landing areas for ships to unload raw materials and load the las packs and autocannon shells. The objective of the first assault is to take those landing areas and the watchtowers near them.

(( Can I request forces to be sent on the same drop as me and which of the 3 zones I drop on? Or does that use up my one action? If I can.))

Request to take the central landing zone with 2 squads of troopers in report.

You can decide which landing zone you are going to, but you can't request other troops specifically (you already used your action)

It's a typo, i'll correct it by next update. It's 10 Hydras. It's still a lot, but as an artillery battalion, those will probably have to provide anti air fire for 4-6 regiments.

((Do I decide which squad I am dropped with?, Aslo guys I am thinking putting commissars with the guerrillas might not work, because the commissars themselves are not stealth trained))
