Oh. Well...This is going to be funny, I think.
(Can't believe people believe the Dungeon Master when he gives hints.)
You have Psysquid near the button that you cannot read -nor do you want to read, because you do realize that SAN loss might be something difficult to regain. And frankly, you don't see any button. You see Psysquid moving close, but you cannot seem to see any button.
You exit with a heavy and metallic looking diving suit, to ensure you can properly breathe -unfortunately, your lungs do require oxygen in the form of air, rather than water.
It's a moment, a moment in which you realize it's a
really bad idea to watch an evil and demonic gate open up from close.
The moment passes.
You are still you. There's a Psysquid next to you too.
This one appears no different than the one you just sent away.
You look around for a moment, seeing absolutely nothing if not for the submarine.
And a strange tentacle mass that floats lazily by in the corner of your eye.
You turn sharply, trying to put it into focus, but it's already gone.
Incognito - Ability Acquired: Seeing Things That Aren't.
On the plus side you did already acquire the Yellow King Mutagen.
You turn to look at the 'Psysquid'
He doesn't appear much different, if not for his slightly larger head.
"Your evilness," he says in a slow monotone when you re-enter the submarine. "Why... are we here?"
"You're...not my Psysquid. You're from another reality." It takes you a while to explain the situation, but the creature understands.
"Oh, right," the Psysquid blinks. "I am Psysquid, the Bearer of Nihilism. We are all going to die anyway...so if you want, I can be of service."
Nihilism. +4.5 to Control, -1.5 to Des.
Nihilistic View: On a successful roll of mission success, the difference automatically lowers the enemy's forces...as they commit suicide.Keep him? Change him? Stay close to him once more when he pushes the next button?
