Look, I am just proposing that, for the dark knight I want to summon, we should use a blood of an innocent that is not a wench.

Speaking of our Charoline, we should check up on her.

How about we nail the fan to the inside of the armour and sacrifice the ensemble with Knighthowl's blood? Like:
Innocent Man
+
Warrior's Mail
+
Blood of an Honourable Warrior
=
?

Unfortunately, our standards do not allow us to nail innocent people to armor before sending them strait to hell. We can totally do it with the next hero we capture, though.

Additionally, we can only do one summon per day.

And still, it's been proven countless times that using many items does not work. Try to limit any sacrificial suggestions to 2 or maximum 3 items.

All in all that could have went much worse, congrats on the namesake Imp, earned it imo.
Don't feel bad about it, we also agreed to the corpse, plus we didn't have enough experience/knowledge to know it wouldn't work, your reasoning was sound enough.
Plus I think we should at least see what she can do before we brush this off as a failure, for all we know she can make fire balls out of midair. (Unlikely but meh, I can dream)

Plus Cerulean needed a plushie. Don't want to go teaching her that it is okay to abuse her though, would not help with her issues.

If you want more mutation experiments, next base upgrade should be some kind of Breeding Pit or Menangerie to help with getting spares and replacements.

Anyone like the idea of Cerulean being 'given' this imp?  Could be useful, since it's clearly Mauve/clearly not Mauve, and because in general imps can take a heck of a lot of punishment (should Cerulean decide to take a few things out on the no-longer Mauve).  We would prefer Cerulean to develop a preference for conquering and controlling those she now wants dead, right?
+1. That's what we are aiming for: neither sadism not vengance, but power.

And I want to propose a way for us to not fail so hard at these things: let's determine the outcome the way the GM does it.

So, when we want to summon something, what should we do? Well, you think of the first word that comes to your mind, and that's the quality that get's added to the mix.

Shadenight thought of the sacrificed items this way:
-Blood-->Alive
-Robes-->Magic
-Tears-->Bad-aligned
-Liondor-->Cute pet.

So, we got a bad-aligned living cute magic beast. An imp fits the description perfectly.

So, let's think this way the next time we want to summon something.

So what, how does my suggestion fare in this light?

Spiky plate armor ---> Dark knight.
Black cape ---> Evil.
Blood of the innocent ---> Alive.

Mayhap I should replace the cape for tears?

Yes, replace cape for tears, as heroes may use capes too. Actually, when I think of a cape I think of the ability to fly, but that's what comes to my mind only.

I doubt to which extent a spiked armor is more evil than normal armor. Tears should be enough to make it evil.

That makes me think, we don't have a source of tears. This may be bad to our image if we end up summoning cute things.

Could install/find a closet and call it the crying room where anyone who is sad could go there and cry into a bottle for us. Joking of course.

Also, not all tears are a source of evil.

Okay, how about:

Spiky armor w/ enormous sword + tears + fan's blood?

Well, weapons have proved to be used by the summoned thing, so that could help.

I still say that the spikiness of the armor is not related to the evilness it depicts (I consider it to be highly uncomfortable). But go with it anyway.

No! The fan's blood is worth nothing to us! I... just had an idea. Sacrifice the returning memories. Along with the silver shard.
