3) Upgrading Base
Create Cog-Minion Factory! You direct the work at your lair, and smoothly a factory is built. It shall now produce your faithful basic Cog-Minions for as long as there will be
Scraps available.
Of course, it will also be able to produce other types of Cogs given time and experimentation, but at the moment you do have the Flesh-Cog type you can create. What it does however is up to debate, since you have the 'Advanced' type in Lord Gamington, rather than the basic unit.
...
Producing Minions and You! The Cog-Guide to Cog-Conquering the world! You can always build in the Upkeep or the Downkeep enough Mooks to reach number ten in a single turn. Then you can build a maximum of four mooks per turn thereafter.
So let's say you're reduced down to a single mook, you can build nine in a turn, and then reach twenty by creating them in two turns and half.
Dark Minions are rarer, and you can only summon One per turn. (They also have abilities, which is why it's a one-only)
Dark Advisors crop up, your call whether to keep them or not. However, since some might prefer to keep them around while others don't, simply obtain the majority of people in favor of 'defenestrating' the Dark Advisors, and he shall be 'Defenestrated'.
Do also consider that while Dark Advisors can't go more than one per mission, this doesn't apply to base defense. In case of Hero Raid, Dark Advisors are helpful boons.
At the same time, they are the ones with the secret Misconduct gauge. Better to kill one rather than have him backstab you in the back.
5) Weather the Storm
"The city is peaceful, and while the heroes remain in a state of alert tensions are lowering. By the way, who wants to buy a really cheap anti-Chaos bunker?"
There is nothing interesting in the newscast, but at least you're enjoying a relaxing moment of peace and tranquility.
That lasts approximately five seconds.
"I'm a singer! I'm a ringer! I'm a finger! No, wait...computing..." Gamington tap-dances his way inside, spinning around with his cane and rhythmically dancing.
"Hey boss! Can I ask you a favor?"
You raise an eyebrow.
"I want to go on the next mission! Please! I want to show the world my dances! And my awesome tophat!"
Life with Dark Advisors and you: why should we care?As said above, Dark Advisors are the only one who possess the Misconduct gauge. It is a secret value which fills overtime depending on the level of 'injustice' the Dark Advisors believes to be suffering from, and lowers whenever something is done to make the Dark Advisor feel special. Sometimes two favors might be in contrast, in which case the Overlord can choose a side (boosting one and losing the other) or neither (Losing a little bit from both, unless he comes up with a solution for both favors which is satisfactory, in which case he earns a bonus to both, and might even stop the two sides from bickering further for a while)
You are now in Downkeep
