I hope the GM lets us do the following:

1. blow up the powerstations while killing/incapacitating as many responders before more heroes come in.
2. blow a HUGE fucking hole from the outer walls and keep punching through.
3. If their is an auxilarry power source blow that to hell to. if not skip to 4.
4. Rally the prisoners and motivate them to take revenge upon the high-sec guards and other heroes. These people are probally evil villians with powers or heroes who grew discontent with their leadership.
5. find and rescue ceruelem and get out while leaving our calling card in her old cell room.

It isnt the GM we have to worry about - it's the dice.

My thoughts:

 * I think it's time to use our hero-summoning gadgets

* Blow the whole city up if we have to. I don't care about incidental casualties. All monsters lead by Gamington on mega-destructive-rampage-of-doom for a distraction. Give him a set of speakers capable of disintegrating city blocks and tell him to play Dance-Dance-Evil-Dance on buildings with monsters instead of on a footpad with his feet.

* I...am not certain that our personal attendance on the rescue mission is wise. This...is a trap. And we know it. Yes, I want to rescue Cerulean. In fact, at this point...honestly, Cerulean is more important to me than the long term survival of this forum game is. However, Cerulean was calling for her daddy. If we go barging in there, immediately after being seen with her in the hospital, after being seen with her by the other four members of her team...we'll be advertising to the world that we're the overlord, and not an adviser like everyone presently assumes.

Additionally, it's possible that somebody has already figured that out. Specifically, that heroic hero from the hospital mission. He vowed revenge on us, and he's probably not an idiot. He knows we're coming. And if so, and if this is a trap specifically  tailored for us personally, then we don't want to be the one to trigger it. For example, if someone knew that Chemista was going to run a raid, they'd have flame prepared, even though flame might not affect another adviser (or us) as much. We don't want to barge into a trap specifically tailored for us. Let somebody else trigger it.

Therefore, I propose that we send Psysquid on the retrieval mission with specific instructions that his orders are to bring back Cerulean, collateral damage is not a concern, and he can release every inmate loose if it the resulting chaos will make it easier for him.

if he succeeds, great. If he fails, then we'll still have our major trump card: Overlord+Chemista, for a second attempt that will be made after the heroes are no longer on high alert, because they'll believe that they've already successfully thwarted the rescue attempt.

+2 I'm supporting plans that envolves explosions. Steampunk is Cogs, Steam and explosions, and we're lacking explosions ATM.

Maybe... maybe we should go pay a visit to Cerulean's old team mates on the way to rescue Cerulean. Show them exactly what's being done to their old friend.

Lord Bucket, I do not believe they know enough about our powers to tailor a trap for us. I still support your plan.

I also believe that this is the point where our overlord begins doing slightly insane.

We don't need to attack the citizenry. After all, the heroes know that will happen. Not the first breakout. We can fake such an attack. Get the herocallers, and blow up the powerplants. Make sure we issue said warning. Then infiltrate and destroy the prison.(*)

* I mean, it redirects at least some of the heroes to a place in the middle of nowhere.

Choose your team

I've kind of lost track of what we have available. Squidaconda should definitely go with Gamington. Don't we have some other monsters, too? SilGoo should go. Is he a monster? If he's a monster, go with Gamington. If he's not, go with Psysquid. Chimera should go. He's a minion, so go with Psysquid. What's Guatfish? Do we still have the Bunnibi? Can Behemoth Catfish do land missions? If so, send them along if they're better than cogs.

Would help to have a current list. Several things are missing from the wiki, and we don't seem to have a centralized list anywhere.

Otherwise, again, basically...anything that's destruction oriented, go with Gamington. All monsters, go with Gamington. His job is to blow stuff up. Anything that's not a monster goes ad would reasonably be helpful, goes with Psysquid: Fluffy, Chimera, etc. Fill in empty seats with most powerful available units first.

The Overlord and Chemista are the only units being held in reserve. Anything else is considered expendable. But, that I'm aware of we don't have stats for some units, like German for example. I have no idea what Piggybank does other than the +2 resist control bonus it has. So, no need to send things that probably wont' be useful, but it's getting difficult to keep track of what is and what isn't useful for what. Or even what we have. Re-reading over the past couple pages I'm seeing a couple units that aren't familiar to me.

I'd say crab, and send him along.

We don't need to attack the citizenry.

Not specifically, but now isn't the time to be cautious. Gamington has full authorization to take out buildings and city blocks. If people die in the process because they're in those buildings, that's not our goal, but so be it.
