(I'll take that as a yes to letting Gayle try to identify the liquids before this happens, so:)

Gayle takes the vials and attempts to identify the contents...
Going off of their appearance, The Yellow one is very likely a Minor Potion of Energy.
The Gray one is likely either a Minor Potion of Defense, or a Minor Potion of Stone Resistance, you can't really tell by eye alone.

There are shouts from the direction of the light, and it quickly grows closer, bouncing up and down until it, and a large group of feral goblins comes within view.

This certainly isn't good by any stretch of the imagination, but at least they're a familiar foe.
