Say words

"Well, that was unpleasant."

Nudge the door with my foot to make sure it's not made of acid that will murderize me if I touch it.  If it's safe to touch, CAREFULLY open the door from the side, without standing in front of it.  Be ready to dodge away.

If it matters which handle, assuming 1 is left (or up) and 5 is right (or down), try in this order:  2 4 3 1 5.  If one opens it, don't try more.

Try the words again, examine invisible objects for something useful (weapons, armor, book of words, etc).

Tear off the Snake and find someone else to punch.

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.
