Yeah, I recommend using third party retailers of CD keys rather than using Steam to bypass regional pricing and risking accounts. I like Greenman gaming, CJS cd keys and a couple of others for that purpose.

Also, if anyone else wants to chip in on the account later, just to keep it going, that's fine, but let's wait to see if it's getting used enough first. Thanks for the notion.

Looking for someone to shout me an American/Euro copy of Saints 4. Seeing as I am Australian the price and the stupid Classification stuff is hurting me... T_T
Naturally, I will be covering the cost so its technically not a shout but a "Oh your going up to the bar, grab me one too" moment...

PTW.  I aint got no paypal.

Personally I would've been grateful a while back if someone would've bought me things on the Internet if I gave them cash. I was able to do bank transfers and give real money, but Paypal was a real bitch to get. And a lot of online games don't accept bank transfers. So far only one bank in Malaysia does direct transfer to Paypal, and it took a long time.

Muz, unfortunately it typically takes 4 business days to transfer money from a Malaysian bank to the US.

A few people have contacted me offering to fnd the account but there is no need. The account currently has $27 which is plenty because nobody has used it yet. Thank you so much for the offers though!

A noble idea, but I fear it will go largely unused until another major bout of Steam sales come around.

And that will be a great use for it! Honestly, it's just another social experiment. I like to do them from time to time, and mostly they don't work out due to human nature eventually breaking them down.

Posting to participate. We'll have to see if this ever takes off, but if it does I wouldn't mind sharing some money to help needy Bay Watchers.

PTW. If there's anywhere this might work, it's likely to be Bay12, with it's notably intelligent, kind and civil community, who actually understand the concept of generosity. Good luck.

Everyone has sales all the time. If things hit 75% off in the slow season it won't matter if a summer/xmas sale pops, because 75% is often the limit.
