"So, is this much better for you?" Conny grins happily.

Marie beams right back, eyes full of surprisingly wholesome joy.

"It most certainly does. And besides, I hear there are some pretty awesome marriage vows out there. Magical bonding and stuff, worth delicious stat bonuses and other benefits!"

She grins cheekily.

"Even if there aren't, though, we shall do it. "

"Yeah, things like magical bonds are part of some of them. not the mainstream one, but plenty of more ancient rites include them. Supposedly some of them even let the two being bound access each others' powers and such if needed. And at least one makes it so you have to kill both of them in order for them to stay dead, I think. Either way, we can do some research if you'd like."
