Stella concentrates for a bit, about a second later, her tail, wings and spines grow

Stella savors the feeling of having her wings out, the breese blowing across the thin scales, a tantalizing tease of the wind singing beneath them.

Never disputed it, only the inability to talk, these people seem to accept it too.

She was quite enjoying this, she might stay in this between form for a while, looking around at the faces, both familiar and unfamiliar. everyone around her was more than just a normal human, and they accepted what they were completley, she was close, in need of time and practice perhaps, but this has helped her get closer to it.

Have not tested it, but half my weight is probably very safe, my own weight, is probably safe too, why?

The gates open, and a horde of....mutated....things come out.

They seem to be...warped versions of.....it isn't even clear WHAT they're supposed to be. Just that they used to be....something humanoid, probably.

Stella moves away with the rest of the group, especially when Will grabs her, not really wanting to kill them, even though they would probably want to kill her.

What are/were those things

Victoria's voice becomes colder and more mature for a moment... "No. But whatever summoned those things seemed to be hostile to it and presumably seemed it off... it seems likely that the whisper summoned us rather than the voice... we were summoned into a room rather than a cell... and everyone else mentioned cells... we were teleported with the rest of the group... the voice would have wanted us to be in a cell... I think the voice didn't summon us... it simply trapped us when we entered..."
"We're stuck in a hostile world filled with those abominations I just shot, pardon me for not being very chipper. I can be whimsical and stage a vaudeville of teasing and whatnot, but so far, no opportunity has presented itself. Becoming psychopathic when I switch to my magic form doesn't help that either..."

She  'paws' at Mini!Selina lightly.
