Will would notice that the remains aren't the ones that are moving. The planet is moving through space at high-speeds whilst rotating. The remains have simply had some of their inertia cancelled and are scattering only from the frame of reference of observers on the planet. From the frame of reference of someone stationary relative to the vacuum of space, the remains simply have slowed down.

Lucas heads over to the small group, still staring at the former killzone. In addition to the strange attraction, it gave him a understandably strange sense of fear. It reminded him of something, but he could not place what it was.

Cyrielle starts drinking again from her flask, occasionally stopping to have a coughing fit and grasp at her own throat.

Cyrielle doesn't respond much, but she's now just below normal body temperature and her heart attack seems to have stopped. She's no longer blushing anymore either.

Alice joins the hug.

Selina slowly stands up, dispelling the armor. Aside from a bloody nose from the impact, she looks fine.

"Y-y-yes... I... I think so..." She looks a little pained, but okay.

Meme cuddles Cyrielle, rubbing her fur against her neck, trying to make Cyrielle better.

"Your eyes flashed when you were hugging me..." Victoria tries to recall what color they were.
"Thanks, but I don't need it... I'm fine for now..."

"Er... I... I d-d-didn't notice... A-and I should be... f-f-fine..." Selina couldn't feel anyone trying to take over. Her eyes had flashed a dull white. Her nose bleed isn't very bad.

Meme stops cuddling Cyrielle, stepping back and looking at Alice... then looking down in sadness.
