Andromalius turns around and raises her rifle. Her vision, changes... it was already different to begin with, consisting of colors completely incomprehensible to normal humans. But now, it is ever far more eldritch. Designations appeared over the vital organs of each hostile. That's all that they could be called. Designations. Nothing more specific could even remotely describe them as no words in any human language provided the necessary adjectives. Assuming of course, human syntax and logic were even compatible with them.
"Targets Acquired. Commencing Elimination Sequence."Andromalius opens fire. Distortion beams instantly rend themselves into reality along precalculated attack vectors. Their indescribable void piercing all within their path. Every human who looked upon them felt some sort of innate strange attraction to them, as if some primitive part of their minds wanted to rush into them and end their own lives... each beam upon reaching a medium of lower density then their current substance violently expanded in that section, further exploding and slicing apart everything in their path. Slicing was all that could be described of their action. They simply sliced through the molecular bonds of the least resistance and continued doing so until there when no molecules left. Then came attraction that held electrons to nuclei. Then the forces that held the nuclei together. And finally, the interaction that bound quarks to one another. All sliced apart in sudden heat death. Despite the amount of energy required to break such bonds, none of the explosive force was present. The hit sections of the abominations simply fell apart and scattered from the expansion. Yet their remains seemed to scatter in some sort of enigmatically arbitrary direction.
Will would notice that the remains aren't the ones that are moving. The planet is moving through space at high-speeds whilst rotating. The remains have simply had some of their inertia cancelled and are scattering only from the frame of reference of observers on the planet. From the frame of reference of someone stationary relative to the vacuum of space, the remains simply have slowed down.
