The person who cast is not known at all. Malicious intent was given and was cast... during her surgery. The enchnments appear to be of... some sort of barrier magic? The fourth still gives no information and would be undetectable if there was just a lack of... anything in the space in occupied.

"In all fairness, everything has a risk. I chose the options which normally would have not empowered the enchantments. I could always try weakening it again, though I suspect that it's activation will prevent that. I have stated this already, it wasn't reckless, I have had experience with less severe cases before."

"Perhaps I can be of assistance? This is magic, so..." Kyle's cousin I have forgotten the name of and has totally been there the whole time but I've been too lazy to comment on taps his forearm. "If this is magic, I should be able to..."

He steps forward, rolling up his right sleeve, revealing a twisting, vine-like tattoo.

"Spirit of the contract, ye who rule over nameless Void, hear me..."

he begins to chant, building up power.

"... His magic and Ashley's are powered by it, as far as I know. And I know someone who knows more than anyone, but he's unreachable."
