The enchantment has already been activated, its guard no longer stops it. Selina will die in 45 days... a number 44 suddenly appears above her head for about 3 seconds.

Both attempts fail and a 39 appears above her head. This apprears to just be quickening the process. Selina looks somewhat pale now. The third enchantment is demolished however, the fourth still intact along with the active second.
