Don't mind mine. I thought I clicked on the RotMG OOC, since they were both under my updated topics.

After some digging, I found Az-Sho's death scene. Behold as he fought against the forces of three seperate gods with the aid of his followers, killing everything there before dying. His death turned an entire continent into a burning wasteland and sent such a think carpet of dust into the atmosphere that it caused an ice age. Not even Udil survived (he was resurrected and boosted into god hood by the newest Overgod).

I still can't comphrend why the overgod would do that. Wasn't the Overgod in hibernation when that happened?

It was the Overgod that entered after Azthor killed that elder god of cold that became the second one. He disapproved of Az-Sho making dwarves extinct to spite Udil.

Hey now, it wasn't really that bad. He just sent a force of 100 meter tall golden collossi to kill them, which were meant to act as guards for that prison that Un'Girlan later got sealed in, probably dooming the universe.
I have to admit my favorite part of the fight was when Aurik got imbued with the powers of all the other Flameborn and basically temporarily became a god and just casually vaporized the entirety of the collossi.

If there was a tropes page for Pantheon, Aurik would have had to have been the Memetic Badass. Seriously, that was awesome.

Hell, put Udil there too. He may have been Udil, but through sheer luck he somehow managed to last the whole game and become the ruler of the universe.
Of course in my headcanon Aur-Sha headed a gigantic rebellion/civil war thing and just in the middle of their titanic clash Un'Girlan bust out of Anghwair and they had to engage him in mortal kombat.

Edit: Actually my favorite part of the fight would have to have been where

In my headcanon, the god of vengeance allied with the pissed off Aur-Sha, who had the might of the Crowborn, Fire Jotuns, and Fatianna, as well as the ascended Ruka. They then marched upon Despair, Un'Girlan pops out, and in the resulting clash, Sabt Golgo ends up having to intervene simply because the clash is powerful enough to fuck over the entire universe.

Yes indeed.
...
Wait, who was Ruka again? Ghazkull wasn't kidding when he said Pantheon was almost as complex as Hindu mythology.

Oh him!
Er.
I never told you this ingame, but Ruka was actually a cultist of Un'Girlan. His interactions with Corvus were a ploy to gain the advanced technology of the Crowborn and conquer Despair and free Un'Girlan.
Yeah.

Yeah.
Heh, Corvus wouldn't care either way. If Ruka did gain the sphere, it meant Corvus was dead. If Ruka acquired the tech to free Un'Girlan, he'd be smited.

Yeah, I basically put myself in the line of succession and waited for Corvus to die so I could lead them on an assault on the various afterlives IIRC.
Dear god what a clusterfuck that was. I had plans by the end to kill EVERYBODY.
...
There should be a tropes page.
It may be sleep deprivation speaking, but the gigantic roiling brawl that was Pantheon deserves a memorial.
I think.

Edit: And now I remember Aurik.
Totally putting him in there.
