Appearance: A slender young man, with some teen still left in. Dandy, effeminate, a bit vain, playful and rarely serious, enjoys pulling pranks and annoying people, but he can be cold and serious when he needs to be.
As with all Ice mages, he has a rather low body temperature. He typically wears layered clothing - high collared, snowflake patterned turquoise-azure top/jacket with over-long sleeves and matching over-long suspender pants, fixed to his belt, over a warm, tight dark blue sweater and slacks, over a shirt and longjohns, as well as white silk gloves, stylish, sleek ice blue shoes and actually quite fuzzy earmuffs.
He takes great care of his hair, worn in a high ponytail style at the back and over one eye at the front. It's about chin length and icy blue, but that's not his natural hair color (he just feels an ice mage should have appropriate hair). His face is smooth and rather long, with paleish skin, a long nose and narrow chin. He has purple eyes and carefully done eyelashes.
Bio: A mystery, wrapped in an enigma, sealed within a secret... that's what he'd like it to be, anyway. He is, actually, a runaway and a cat burglar with a great passion for fashion. Lately, feeling he had enough money to pay the bills for a good while and tired of the police breathing down his neck, he decided to go legal, changing his look to his current one. All he does right now is taking on odd jobs, working part-time in a boutique, a little tailoring on the side, some sculpturing and practicing his ice magic.

The pouches contain lockpicks, his keys, an utility knife, a grappling hook, a comb, clippers, a hand mirror, a portemonnaie with several of his business cards and a bit of money within, two pencils, a rubber and a small sketchbook, as well as a few assorted trinkets.

Also, he owns a few spare sets of clothing and has rented a small apartment, mainly for purposes of storing that clothing.

So whats some general lore about the world please? Like it seems to be semi-futuristic, it has an emperor and a council of 6 but whats the state of magic relations? People seem to have made a lot of stuff specifically to combat it, so is there open war against magic users? Are they discouraged and treated as second class citizens? Is there a "Magic Registry" system in place where they have to register their powers with the government or be arrested? Do the governing powers include magic users in the military? What do religious groups think of it? DETAILS PLOX

Let me dissect this.

So whats some general lore about the world please?
There are 2 worlds, New and Old Terra. There are 2 worlds because of the dimension shift event, which also triggered the appearance of magic. Or to be specific, it enabled the humans to use magic.

After the humans discovered that they could perform magic, the world powers quickly shifted and Christianity gained a lot of support. Becoming the biggest religion. After the humans discovered that not everyone could use magic, smalltime wars broke out between some states. But as time passed the world stabilized, Nulls created better methods to fight against mages and the world started accepting magic slowly.

Whats the state of magic relations?
The state of magic is tense. There is a very big tension between Nulls and magic users, this largely noticeable in the small states where magical racism is present. There are also wars between some of the small states, the big states try to avoid war but who knows what might happen.

Is there a "Magic Registry" system in place where they have to register their powers with the government or be arrested?
Yes, but if they don't register they aren't arrested. They just fill in the person as a Null and miss out on a lot of privileges they could have had instead.

Do the governing powers include magic users in the military?
Yes, even the royalty uses magic, but they prefer money magic.

What do religious groups think of it?
Some groups aren't too fond of it but some do use it, the biggest religion in my RTD is The Christian Church uses a lot of magic as it fits some of the stories of the bible.

Name: Roland Murphy
Gender: Male
Age: 38
Magic choice : Null
Appearance: A man of average height, he is rather fit and muscled. He has short salt and pepper hair and a well kept beard. His grey eyes are confident and authoritive. He usually wears grey pants, boots, a shirt with rolled up sleeves and a tie. He has some heavy scarring on his right arm that goes all the way up to his chin.
Bio: A cop in a small precinct, Roland had met his fair share of the lowest scum of the earth. Robbers, murderers, you name it and he's locked them away. The worst kind are always those goddamned magic users who do it just for the kick, just because the can. He feels it is his duty to put any lunatic away, even if it costs him his life, which it nearly did on numerous occasions. As such, Roland would like to see more restrictive magic laws and though he'll never openly say it, he resents magic users.

Outwardly, Roland is a decent enough sort. He is usually able to keep his cool, something he learned could come quite in handy when dealing with criminals. He likes doing things by the book, slow and methodically. Underneath it all, though, he's still bitter over the murder of a junior officer under his command. When the stress piles up, the cracks start to show and he'll get more violent and direct. Over the years of his service, he's become disillusioned with the laws. Though they usually serve their purpose, more than once has he been unable to stop a criminal due to the indecisiveness of local magistrates or loopholes in the laws. Really, he's become quite fed up with these paper-pushers and their rules, some days he really  just wants to take the precincts heavy riot suit for a spin and blast away some crooks. But even though he feels this way, he is still an officer of the law and the law frowns upon wanton destruction somewhat.

Demiurgy Magic:
Traits:
Usually small sized.
Skin gets grey colour if they abuse their magic and consume to much lifeforce.

Cons:
They need to use their own lifeforce to use magic.
Their magic dissapears if they die.
Their magic dissapears after a few hours.

Pros:
They can give life to inanimate objects.
They can make what they need with very little resources. Example, they can convert a small piece of metal into a bird that explores the area.
They can make certains mechanism which are able to simulate other kinds of magic to a extent.

Half pro half con:
They drain lifeforce of people nearby to restore their owns, doesnt matter wether their allies or enemies. This doesnt make them invincible though, there are limits to this power, and they cant control it.

Portal Magic:
Traits: Being a robot with a pistol Well, im pretty sure you can think something out.

Cons:
They dont have any directly offensive magic.
Depending on the size of the portal, the time it stays open, and the distance beetween them, they can cost a lot of energy.

Pros:
Like gravity magic, its only powerful if creative.
Can make portals to anywhere he remembers (Recommended it not to be to far away or you may burn up your power).

Appearance: Gold coloured eyes. Naive and innocent aspect, however there seems to be a shadow of sadness in her face. Blueish hair, which may look like white at first glance, falls to the middle of her back. She has fair skin. She is of average height. She usually wears a well-fitted, vanilla shirt, with short sleeves, and a knee-length, sky blue skirt with tangerine embroidery.
Bio: Both her parents were poor Null, her powers were discovered at the age of four, when she transmutated some ice, milk and fruits onto an icecream in front of her mother.
Her father was an assasin of mages, and would kill her if he discovered she was a mage, thus her mother gave her to some friends.
This saved her life once again when both her parents died due to a fatal plague, she was then taken care by the friends of her mother, who treated her as their daughter until she could go to the magic school and learn.
She has spent quite some time on the school, she is/was very passionate about magic, and learns/t quite fast, however, she still charges up the pain for her mother death.
Additional Equipment: Her mother amulet, which ressembles a tiny diamond eye opening inside a small golden heart.

Appearance: A white long haired teenage with red eyes  and pale skin. Wearing a dark red dress and holding a dark red umbrella. Wear fangs and slitted contacts to seem more like a vampire.
Bio: A normal girl apart from a vampire obsession. Her grandfather would often read her stories about the monster when she was a little girl and thus it was from this her fascination began. She hasn't withdraw from the world, being a social butterfly, but she does talk with a Hungarian accent even when not pretending to a vampire.

Occasionally sports a panama hat and shades. Though this is merely his favorite form-he's afraid to admit he can't remember what he looks like sometimes.
Bio: Gerald is a skilled body mage firstly-but, most people known him quite indirectly as the magical stunt double of many famous action movie stars-he's learned to master the ability of 'becoming' his roles, even taking on their appearance and mannerisms-using his magic to physically change his body to any human form he needs. He's played almost everything imaginable-gunslinger, spy, serial killer, hardboiled cop, space marine-even going so far as to emulate a woman once in a historical drama.

Being something of a dashing playboy in his off time, Gerald Blue lives the 'ultimate life'. Lots of money and little responsibility, too many exes and a substance abuse problem-mostly alcohol for now-dealing with the pressure of constant performance and the surprising ease at which he can lose himself in a role. In fact, he sometimes feels made of clay-infinitely malleable to the demands of his job, but not a real person any longer...but, such thoughts he keeps buried deep-very deep. One wonder when it will claw its way to the surface.

Additional equipment: Voice Changer (a small magical device Gerald attaches to the back of his neck to change the pitch and tone of his voice to his role-he doesn't like to work internal magic on his body on short notice. It can also act as a recorder, and from merely a small snippet of audio can perfectly recreate that persons voice in his own.)
