Somewhere, far away the remains of a construct lies. It was not fully completed and the trauma experienced by it during its transition to this strange world had rendered it inoperable in its entirety. It was a Sigurd-class divine construct. Or rather, all that remained of one. Its limbs and actuators had been severed. Its sensor array vivisect and the divine nuclear reactor that lay at its core ripped out.

Something sparks to life. Briefly but unmistakably so. The smell of solder fills the air as the relevant parts were connected together. A single strip of something resembling paper is belatedly output. A piece of ofuda. Looks like the failsafes also broke in the transition. The fabricator shouldn't be functioning. Yet it was. This endeavor has proven to be quite fruitful...

An elderly elf with a wispy beard walks over to investigate the commotion. He had stayed inside the palace during the initial investigation, preferring to meditate and practice his craft. To practice bonsai and tend to trees was a simple pleasure, yet one that gave him far greater satisfaction than anything else he experienced this lifetime. Well, aside from regular exercise of course. Leaning heavily against his staff he takes a moment to scan the area, his wizened face displaying not even the subtlest of changes. Though he longed to be a part of nature, he nevertheless bore witness to the infernal machinations of man within this life of his, this bloodshed was a surprise, but not a shock. His free hand naturally rested against the seed pouch, currently filled with palm seeds, he always made sure he carried some seeds, in case he wanted to plant something, so checking it was as much an innate instinct now as much as it was a routine habit.

Anyway, Diana powers down, huffs, and goes into a coffee shop... and is annoyed that the people there aren't still serving coffee regardless.

The Wanderer shurgs at this bullshit and goes to also get some coffe.

Vix lets the Cryswarm collapse back into its normal blob form and returns his sword to the bag. He then retrieves a variety of alchemical equipment from his bag and starts experimenting on the dismantled cube. If nothing happens, he starts collecting things he hasn't seen before to conduct SCIENCE MAGERY upon instead.
