Jason sends a knife up into the tree and it sends him flying up and he's now on a thick branch. He's throwing his knives down at the wolves below him.

Catherine forms an ICE WALL in the way of the shadow leaping towards her.

Lucas just nods, and fires a few bullets towards its head. Or at least, something resembling a head.

((Oh god why did you guys have to fly so far into the field thing. This was supposed to be an escalating difficulty thing :/))

One wolf leaps preposterously up and tackles Jason onto the branch so that he's hanging from his legs while the other one starts leaping up in an attempt to latch onto his flailing head.

The wolf ... jumps straight over the ice wall and tackles Catherine. Oh deary me.

While it shakes its head a little in response to the bullets, it shakes them off and dashes toward him.

The wolf pup turns into a flea egg, sitting right in the ear of one of the wolves, and starts singing the song that never ends.

He lashes at the wolf below him, and uses the branch to knock the above wolf off. He fixes himself back onto another branch and begins whipping the above wolf.

((Wait, how? Sorry if I described it badly, but his upper body's hanging off the branch and the first wolf is sitting on his legs.))

Catherine's eye twitches. The Ice wall didn't work. It never works. Why does she keep freaking using it if it doesn't even work?!!?
So instead, she is tackled by the wolf. She struggles a bit to get out of there. And possibly also spike its head with a ice shard.

Lucas looks over the wolves, and then his eyes begin to glow, before just sort of fading. He gets up, and checks the amount of bullets in the pistol. Seeing how much he had, he prepared to use an alternative way to fight using a gun. Pistol whipping.

((You described it as Jason dangling from his feet, with the wolf on the branch. Also, just a key tip: you might want to not auto success the tackling, considering that Jason could've reacted to the lunging wolf.))

Anyhow, both wolves begin clawing their way up the tree to Jason's position, seeming to leap up the tree.

The ice spike pauses it for a second or so, making it draw itself off the spike and ... eat it? before beginning to maul her. She'd have an opportunity to do something before it commenced.

Question, what type of pistol? What's the buff made out of?

Catherine takes a bit more water, and just attempts to push it back, as a sort of whip.

The pistol itself is just a normal looking pistol, being a projectile weapon, and there wasn't a whip. The glow that appeared and faded was him checking how bad the field was this far in, and him deciding to do a different plan.

Jason whips them as they jump between tree branches, hopefully sending them off course.

The wolf isn't so much affected by the water as it begins lapping it up. It's movements grow quicker as it drinks.

Any particular material?

They get knocked onto two branches. They recover, however, and launch themselves at him, one on each side of him.

Lucas' Pistol is made out of stainless steel.
Catherine just starts trying to simply dodge the attacks of the wolves, now.

Jason drops down, then launches himself to another tree with a knife.

The wolves, having somehow landed on the branch where Jason was previously, turn and leap to the tree where he reeled himself to. Damn they good jumpers.

The pistolwhipping is kinda effective, seeming to make an impact as the wolf moves to leap on Lucas.

Catherine ... ... ... barely dodges the wolf's first bite, but it latches onto her hand on the second attempt and begins crunching.
The ice wall begins to shrink somehow.
