Nanoha climbs up after the little skittering water elemental. After pondering a bit, she chants some and (6) summons a rather large volume of water for it to absorb, wondering if that will do anything.

Said elemental absorbs it and expands, now about the size of a bear. The its undulating body seems to have stronger currents flowing through it as well.

Nanoha smiles at that, waving at it before cautiously walking up to inspect it more closely.

"Hello?" she says experimentally. She doubted it could understand, but hey.

It stops moving but it doesn't respond. Seems like it can hear, even if it's just a mass of water.

It absorbs the water again and increases in size bit more.

(4) Kyle punches through the shield. And then he looks around confused as he goes back to normal. He walks up to Nanoha.
"Why am I on a mountain?"

Nanoha gently pats its side.

"I wonder if it likes me yet?"

Then Kyle.

...Nanoha considers this, then promptly pushes him off of said mountain, albeit conjuring a bubble of air around him so he falls nice and gentle.

It doesn't seem to mind. With the amount of water it has absorbed now, it's surface tension can sustain it's form without it deforming too much, though it still wobbles around like some sort of thick jelly.
