He is greeted by a rather large lion guarding the gate.
"State your business, sir."

And then Fatianna is in the dungeon with the party. She was totally there the whole time.

Not a chance she'd just manifested there and made the fact that she wasn't with the group before a Divine Secret.

Kyle pulls off his pants.
"Here's my package."

The shapeshifter chuckles, before climbing up onto the ceiling and skittering off?

[SOLDIER First]

"Sir, put your pants back on please.
If you have nothing to deliver to the castle I can't let you in without the King's permission.
I apologize for any inconvenience."

Kyle pulls his pants back up and pulls a book out of his pocket.
"But in all seriousness I have to deliver the biography to the library."

The Angelic Party pols their resources for a plan. They set off a massive flare of fire, light, steam, and so forth at Packbit's feet to get Alex's attention.

Packbit shies away slightly, moving around the flare, but otherwise continues on. A number of the Harvester Birds circle around near the flare, screeching aggressively, and a few swoop nearby, but none attack. As Packbit remains unharmed, they eventually disperse back to their Harvesting.

((I'm going to assume the Kyles were smart enough not to attack the giant tortoise for no reason, in the interests of not having to deal with more Vengeance. If I assume incorrectly, this is going to be... fun.))
