"Fuck, they nuked each other, the damn idiots. Now they're all about trying to stop that damn shit, but even an old jackass like me knows they'll be back to it soon enough.

Or they would be if it wasn't for magic and the fact that the gods, assholes though some of them are, don't want the world to die just yet."

"Oh. Wait, they NUKED each other? As in, an actual explosion? What's that supposed to accomplish?"

"Supposed to end some war or shit. It worked, alright, but they've gone into MORE fucked up shit, only without nuking each other. Yet."

[Empiricist]

"Um what? Aren't nukes melee weapons though?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No, they're a load of bombs. Fuck, you wouldn't know. My world's different.

If nukes are melee weapons in YOUR world, yours must be even more crappy than mine."

"Well, we gave up on having proper medical systems in armors since offensive systems were too effective and fucked people up regardless of healing when they breached defensive systems, so now, the systems just revive and reconstruct people before their soul leaves. And no, in my opinion at least, it isn't that much of a hole."

"Fucking hell, what the shit happened to your world?"

"Wolfgang von Dermitz, the father of systems technology. It's quite useful for quite a few fields, not just military. For starters, it makes surgery cleaner and easier."
