Silica faints. The sigil on her stomach has become fainter and all eight eyes are now shut.
Her grimoire has changed, it now has a replication of the sigil on it

"But why intrude upon our humble establishment to extract such a thing?"
Florencio examines it via railgun.

"...she wants an apology."
Abraxas examines it.
Daeron pokes her.

[Empiricist]

"Is thou to say that this apology shall be extracted by the twin vices of force and threat alike?"
Well, Silica has fainted so she doesn't react to the poking.

[Vgray]

The structure is surprising intact. Red runes are scrawled around the outside.

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No. He was found drunk off Stormreach wine, as Herr Pierrot so easily identified. We came here to get some coffee, as that apparently numbs the effects."
Gilbert balks at the mention of using force to extricate an apology. He's an inspector, not a torturer!

[Empiricist]

"Ah my sincerest apologies then good sir, from where I originate, to drag someone so forcibly in somewhere to 'extract' something is far less innocent. Any preferences for the coffee?"
"Do those do anything? Or are they just meaningless doodles?"
Silica stir and wakes up.
[END:6-1] She gets up, doing rather well to ignore how sore she was. "What happened?"

[Vgray]

"It took me a few seconds to recognize the writing. These are orcish symbols. I don't sense anything though..."

Moans come from inside the fortress.

Gilbert shakes his head.
"Any, preferably black. I've been too rude, I apologise, to introduce myself. I am Polizeimarshall Gilbert Schmidt."
He bows to Lucinda.
"I don't know, lass."

[Empiricist]

"So, could just place some explosive around it and collapse it if shit hits the fan?"

[Vgray]

"Preferably without us in it, but yes."

A group of about a dozen Paladins arrive on armored warhorses.

[OREOSOME]

"There may still be survivors within that place."
He seems a bit unsure about that, but just hopes he's right.

[Empiricist]

"Survivors of what? He's just been raising corpses out of the shallow graves that seem to be everywhere. I don't think he's tried to kill anything except grass so far."

[Vgray]

The Paladin in the most ornate armor walks up to the group.

"You are clearly not dead, so what are you doing in this cursed place?"

[Empiricist]

"Figuring out if the nutjob inside is worth the effort of us rigging this place with explosives."

[OREOSOME]

"I'm assuming there were still living people there, and he ended up killing them, and raising them shortly after."
He looks to the Paladin.
"We're after the Necromancer."
