"I can see why, the closest we have would be the PGAC, but from what I've heard, they value efficiency, pragmatism and ruthlessness."

[Vgray]

"Sounds like the SI:7. Stormwinds assassins and spies."

[Empiricist]

"I suppose so, though they also run charities and do research on magic."

[Vgray]

"I've heard rumors about why the Bilgewater cartel joined the Horde. I should start at the beginning of the story though. Their home was a volcanic island and the volcano erupted. The trade prince only allowed those who paid his ridiculous fees to get away on his ship, and his was the only one.  Now, word is, SI:7 were in the area hunting a high value Horde target. They opened fire on the bilgewater ship, not wanting any witnesses. Or so they say.

[Empiricist]

"So how did they find out about it? Did someone survive?"
Lucinda checks the menu.

[Vgray]

"They survived, shipwrecked on an island, along with a group of orcs. I don't know what happened there, but the Bilgewater Cartel, what's left of it, has it's own quarter in Orgrimmar."

[Empiricist]

"So they were supposed to eliminate witnesses but instead just pissed off a neutral faction? How incompetent..."

[Vgray]

"I'm sure a member of the Bilgewater Cartel could describe the events in more detail. I've never had the pleasure of meeting one on neutral ground."

[Empiricist]

"So this SI:7, it was supposed to consist of assassins and spies yet it tried to perform an assassination what sounds like broad daylight before attempting to eliminate the witnesses and failing completely?"

[Vgray]

"Basically. Some rumors I've heard say the target was Thrall, former warchief of the Horde, and accomplished shaman."

[Empiricist]

"Did they actually kill him?"

[Vgray]

"Nope still alive. Now that I think about it...one bartender in Booty Bay claimed they had Thrall captured and in a magical cage. He also said that the goblins played a part in freeing him."

[Empiricist]

"Are you fucking kidding me?! The assassins didn't even kill the guy? They just tried killing a bunch of witnesses to something that didn't even happen?"

[Vgray]

"Clearly they wanted him alive for some reason. They didn't want anyone else alive though...I should mention they were pretty much doomed the second Thrall was free of the cage. The spirits of air water fire and earth tend to listen to his requests."
