"Hmm... what if the demons summoning spell is weakened? Could it be weakened so that it only have enough time to attack the summoner?"

"In theory I suppose. Summoning a demon only to banish it instantly would be rather pointless though."

"Actually, those sanies are sometimes modified to infect magical viruses so weaken them... so I was thinking, what if we modified a few so that rather than forcing people to create more, it forces them to perform a cut-down summoning like that? I suppose it would be akin to summoning a demon to strike them once, except they're the ones paying the magic and contamination costs, not you..."

[Empiricist]

"Miss Kikiuchi, do you have any more plans other than running this cafe?"
Silica checks whether Daeron has gotten any drunker.

He sounds more drunk and incoherent, but he still doesn't look drunk.
"I dunno. Maybe I'll take my sister out to the city, have a fun time there, y'know?"

[Empiricist]

"I meant career-wise. You can't work in a cafe forever, can you?"
"I hope the drunk people here aren't scaring you Fuuka."

Fuuka isn't anywhere nearby. They're not in the cafe, right?
Fuuka sneezes twice.

"Ah really? Have you checked what agencies you could sign up with here yet?"

"That could work nicely."

Twillier just shakes his head and summons a bottle of wine.

((Yes, but Daeron wasn't there in the first place. He walked in, grabbed the grog, and went out to enjoy it by himself (and Silica).))

"Issue is, I'll need some equipment, shouldn't be too difficult. Access to the right articles, this isn't my specialty after all, also not to difficult. But the difficult part is, someone actually has to do that sort of summoning for me to get the echo signature. As in, after I get everything prepped and set up, you may have to summon the most dangerous demon you can, with virtually no binding, just long enough for it to attack you. Mind you, you won't have to get hit, just cast the spell and get the fuck away. If you could delay it so it goes off when you're a safe distance away, it would help matter."
((Ah, okay.))
Silica checks how much of the bottles are now empty.

Well. She's a bit drunk but she isn't collapsed, hungover or dead from alcohol poisoning at least.
"Oh, you ought to do so sometime, after all you'll need a publisher and producer at the very least."

"I might need some help there. Lucinda-kun, would you help me?"
"Oh, lass, having a go with a pint are we? Good going!"
