Lucinda sits down having run out of ideas of what to do.

"If you're out of ideas, Lucinda, maybe dating the delightful Ms Yukari might do-"
He gets a satchel, a pillow, and an apron thrown at him. Yukari is blushing. Richard is sighing.

In the kitchen, Gaston smirks, having placed a spatula in the apron.
Alith is currently on the floor, wondering why the hell a spatula was in an apron.

"She'd want to date me of all people? I doubt it. I'm probably not her type anyway."
"Is it hygienic to hit people with a spatula?"

"H-he's right!"
"Seriously, Elf, you made her a tsundere?!

Thank fuck she isn't here."
"I read her mind, Peyton. I know you're her-"
This time, Alith ducks after Yukari hurls another pillow at him. Richard collects his satchel.
"Alith. Foot. Out of mouth. Now."

"Seriously, you just hit someone with a spatula, are you sure it's hygienic?"
"Where did you get those pillows from?"

"Eh, it was a fresh spatula from the drawer."

Yukari, still blushing, points to the chairs.

Alith sighs.
"Alright, Collins, I'll leave the lovebirds alone."
He walks out, winking. Richard sighs.
"I swear, he wasn't like this before he got hold of Stormreach wine."

Lucinda considers his options. Alith seems to to be sober and has demonstrated his abilities before, so there is a fair chance Yukari does have feelings for him. Well, that means he can either try and get a definitive answer from her, or, he could just act oblivious. The former resolves the matter faster, but the latter prevents them from rushing into anything they'll regret, anyway, she's in her late teens and he's in his mid-twenties so age difference would be a factor, mental age shouldn't be too much of an issue, since he didn't have any recollection sigils active so he only remembers the a few general details of his past lives but still, there was the chance she didn't and Alith was incorrect or had ulterior motives. It was probably better to just wait it out and let her admit it if she does.
"Is that character often of acquaintance to the infernal influence of alcohol?"

"Fuck no. He hates alcohol because he acts like an idiot after drinking it, even when he's SOBER.

Sapphira spiked his waterskin with Stormreach wine to get a rise out of Gaston. Suffice to say, she got one."
Richard rubs his temple.
"Don't let him get to you. He'll be down in about..."
Cue a thud and an unconscious changeling.
"....now? Yeah, okay, that works. Gaston, would you like to-"
"Let's move le idiote out of zis place before he starts making more of a fool out of himself."
They haul him off.
Corvus chuckles.
"My, my."
"Ssshh! It's a library, pipe down."
"Ah, my apologies, Miss Alcris."

"Very well. Miss Kikiuchi, worry not for there is no reason for any of the present to pay heed to a drunken gentleman's allegations."

"...didn't Collins-san just say he was sober?"
Richard and Gaston lay Alith somewhere with a lot of coffee and a bottle of hot sauce.
"In future, we're checking that waterskin. I swear."
"Or letting Daeron drink it. Ze kobold doesn't seem to have a liver!"
Daeron is now singing Tydmas carols. He still doesn't seem drunk.

"Still hung-over though considering he's now passed out. Not too sure about his world, but I don't think magic is very reliable when you've got a hang-over."
