Silica checks how much Daeron has drunk thus far.

Daeron has already drunk a quarter of the crate. He doesn't look anywhere near drunk.
"I suppose we just chill out?"

"Come to think of it, how will we handle payments?"
"Aren't you worried about the liver damage?"

Yukari pats the register next to her. It belches smoke.
"We're about as bad as dwarves on that account, lassie!"

[Empiricist]

"I'm not too familiar with your world, but are registers summonsed to be smoking?"
"Wait, so how much do you need to drink to get drunk?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Uh....no..?"
Yukari looks worried, but the register pops up with dollar signs and stops smoking.
"I don't recall, lass. The last time I drunk near enough, I woke up two days later on the top of a mountain with a goatskin wrapped around me!"

[Empiricist]

"Is it okay?"
Lucinda inspects the register.
"Okay, so I probably shouldn't ever drink with you then. _{Not that I should ever anyway.}"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Ah, at last. Someone who actually knows how to handle me! I'll be sticking around you for a while, lass!"
Daeron laughs uproariously, smiling cheerily at Silica.
The register is perfectly normal, if a bit soot-covered.

"Why is soot on this? What happened to it?"
Lucinda opens it up and checks the insides.
"*chuckle* It's not like I'm going anywhere anyway."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

It's got the money people have passed them. Nothing unusual.
"You can. I'm not stopping you,lass. Don't let an old man like me hold you down!"
Daeron chuckles.

[Empiricist]

"Says the person fifty two years my junior. I'm more held down by my anemia and lack of any reason to do so."
"Odd... these shouldn't be smoking... Any idea what caused that?"

Daeron shrugs.
Yukari shrugs.

Lucinda tries using the cash register. He also checks if they have an EFTPOS machine.
Silica continues drinking her mineral water.
