((Just to highlight that point, his weapon's name is the Metashiv of Shiving. It is indeed quite literally a shiv that shivs people using other shivs. Naming things isn't his strong point.))

The earth shakes, and drilling machines rise up out of the ground around the café.

"Wonderful. Those look like Dark Iron machines."

"They could be nice Dark Irons.

"No such thing."

"Call it the Coffee Bean? We seem to specialise in coffee."

[Empiricist]

"Okay that works. *machines rise* Looks like we have potential customers."
"Oh great. Hostile or just pricks?"

"It depends really. Some are the former. Some are the later."

[Empiricist]

"What's the quickest way to tell?"

[Vgray]

"Allow me."

Tasrak walks over to them and greets them in broken Dwarvish.

A few laugh at his poor attempt. One speaks back. They talk for awhile. Tasrak points in the direction of the café. Tasrak walks back.

"They're about as friendly as Dark Irons get I'd say. They also claim to be loyal to Moira, for whatever that's worth."

[Empiricist]

"I suppose you can't expect much niceties from people who call themselves the "Dark Irons" I guess. It sounds more fitting for a death metal band anyway."

[Vgray]

The Dark Irons walk over and grunt greetings in common. There are about a dozen of them and they all take seats.

"This should be interesting. I wonder if this place can handle Dwarven livers?"

[Empiricist]

"Well it's a cafe so I don't think alcohol will get into play any time soon."
"Good day to you, what would you like to order?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"I'll go wait for coffee orders."
Yukari heads behind the counter, while Gaston heads into the kitchen. Wikus just waits to serve anything he needs to.

The Dark Irons all pipe up with their favorite brews.

"It's a cafe. If you want beer, there's a tavern just across the street."

[Empiricist]

((Come to think of it, one of Lucinda's more potent weapon enchantments is based on the use of historical events, something that this setting doesn't have. Should I just have him unable to use it, or should I make it select someone's world history at random?))
"Why did they call themselves the Dark Irons anyway?"
