Cullodus draws a tarot card, with a dancing fool on it.

"You use playing cards for magic?"
"Ah, I hope she isn't feeling too out of place here."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

Cullodus nods.
"Uh, yeah. She's a bit shy and all. I'll try to help her out a bit; I'm not too used to being here either."

[Empiricist]

"That's understandable, I hope that vanguard didn't cause any trouble for you."
"How do you use playing cards to perform magic? What's so special about them?"

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"These ones are imbued with magic according to what they represent. Tarots are used for different purposes aside from playing, of course, where I come from."
"Right."

[Empiricist]

"Ah they're imbued... that explains it. Enchantment or remote magic access?"
"So, we are you two headed?"

"Remote magic access."
Yukari is about to mention Corvus when a crow pecks her sister on the head. She winces and tries to get it off, but it's already flown away.
"We were about to....huh? Wait, how am I speaking English?"

"That was Corvus, one of the resident gods here. In my case, the one whom I have a covenant with."
"Hmm... did you make those, or were you given them?"

"I made them."

[Empiricist]

"Consider me interested then. Was it difficult? What process was used?"
"Right, so where were you two headed?"

"...to do exactly what Corvus just did."
"They're magical projections, more or less."

[Empiricist]

"Interesting, my world has similar units, except they access a sever and output the spell used."
"Ah, okay." Silica walks towards the cafe, she could use a glass of mineral water right now.
