Multiple large mortar shots arc to the vanguard's position and harmlessly explode in sprays of intense winds and beer vapors. The vanguard units would have been buffeted by the winds and progressively getting drunker and drunker on what amounts to a faulty fuel-air bomb.

Nemo nods, before extending his crab claw, incanting something in a tongue that Silica and Twillier automatically tune out; their minds, somehow, try to protect them from it.
