"I suppose so, but our aversion to mass conflict isn't just because of its nature. Since going into combat without an armor unit like the one I was wearing is absolute suicide, all military units must have them. Of course they have magic signatures, so we can't really have any large scale conflicts like that or artillery and FOBS will easily strike them down... not to mention that having so much death in an area would trigger an Abyss...

I think so... we pronounce it as daemon though. There's quite a sizable population in Itova actually, we keep them around to clean up the magic signatures of some of our city's systems."

[SOLDIER First]

Lucario examines anything and anyone that comes within several feet of him.

[Vgray]

"It's refreshing to talk to someone who doesn't hate my very existence."

Tasrak picks another flower, which wilts.

[Empiricist]

"I don't see why anyone would, though then again my world probably holds death in an ever so slightly less grim regard considering that we do have ways of keeping in contact with the deceased. I mean, you've killed people, but you were under duress at that point in time and being a walking corpse wouldn't be that much of an issue in my world, considering that most soldiers have died a least a few dozen times already..."

[Vgray]

"I assume your world has religion? The belief and worship of higher beings?"

[Empiricist]

"Yes, though currently only one of the three deities is being worshiped."

[Vgray]

"It's also refreshing to not have anyone mention my short stature."

Tasrak cringes slightly and sighs.

"Here we go again. Someone find me a small woodland animal that no one will miss."

[Xantalos]

The dragon slowly steps forth into the lava pool, drawn by an irresistible call to the fire in his blood.

[Empiricist]

"Why?"

[Vgray]

"Death Knights such as myself have to cause pain regularly. If we don't we suffer pain. Great pain. Yet another reason to not be liked."

[Empiricist]

"Ever heard of a masochist? I'm pretty sure that are a few ahem, adult clubs, in my world whose patrons would be happy to well, be on the receiving end... I' try and help, but I've only recently arrived here, I'd help obtain a creature otherwise if I knew were they were."

[Vgray]

Tasrak sees a squirrel in the distance.

"That will do."

Tasrak extends an arm and a shadow extends out towards the animal and grabs it, bringing it to him.

Tasrak strangles the squirrel to death and drops it on the ground.

"Watch this."

Tasrak flicks his wrist at the squirrel and it gets up and stands.

[Empiricist]

"Hmm... interesting... is it alive again? Or is this the undeath you spoke of?"

[Vgray]

"It is indeed undeath."

[Empiricist]

"In the same manner as you? Or is it a different variation?"
