Jorn wanders over to where Maria Lucas and Selina are.

Maria pauses, audibly ticking for a moment.

A little cry attracts her attention. She blinks and looks around before spotting... an injured bird. It's actually lost about half a wing. No way its going anywhere.

She takes out her tome, flipping it open. The knight pauses a moment, as the book glows blue. Then, she begins to chant in what sounds like Latin. Slowly, the bird's wing returns to health. With a chirp, the little jay flies off once more.

A smile crosses Maria's face as she returns the book to its little holster at her side.

Selina stares in awe at this.

"W-wow...er... Y-y-you can... H-heal... W-wow... Er..." Selina is a bit shocked... And then people!

"Er... Um... H-h-hello... Er..." Selina looks really nervous, taking a step back towards Maria.

"Greetings."
Maria looks at the people curiously. (And perhaps a bit cautiously, in the case of Jorn. Still a fire serpent thing?))

Selina looks pretty nervous, she felt a bit surrounded.

Jorn glances down at his fiery form.

"You know, I much preferred it when I stood out less."

"You certainly do not look particularly friendly, no."
Maria says that to Jorn.
