The wolf in question pounces forward upon being slashed at, leaping over the blade with the swiftness of a shadow. It leaps off the blade and slams into Jason, knocking him squarely on his back. Though it appears to be made out of shadow, there's the disquieting impression of nasty teeth that are about to be used for mauling.
Like next second right now.

Jason launches the entire fan from the same hand at the wolf, spreading like a buckshot.

Jorn picks a flower, the flower bursts into flame.

The wolf is knocked back a bit by this, though it seems unharmed. It begins running at him, though slower this time. Not by much, but it'll let him get an attack off.

He lashes with the knives by moving his arm to the side, whipping the wolf with the cord, which happens to be made of a bronze that is effective against shadows.

((Why were they shadows? That was literally the thing that I thought wasn't important... apparently I was wrong.))

They're more an odd mixture of (secret) and (secret) than actual shadows, but they look like them.))

The wolfthing is knocked to the side by the impact, though the enchantment doesn't have any particular effect. It gets up, slower than before, and lunges at Jason's legs.

His right hand's fan whips at the wolf, almost like a blur.

[Xantalos]

It impacts, though the wolfthing continues and sinks those fangs of it into his calf.
The wounds hurt, certainly, but they don't seem to leave any noticeable wounds, though he does feel a slight draining effect.

Jason whips the wolf and stabs it with both fans of a total of 20 knives. He doesn't seem to affected by the draining, though some of the rot on his left arm is going away. The wolf would most likely start dieing due to sucking on pure entropy magic..

A wolf cub appears on Jason's head.
"Bark woof bark! Arf arf!"

It seems to be getting stronger, actually. Seems that the wolfthing feeds on magic.
It begins mauling his thigh with increased ferocity, mangling his foot to the point of uselessness.

Jason stops the draining of entropy by channeling it into his fingertips. He lashes the wolf with all of his might as he kicks his leg out in an attempt to get the wolf off.
