"Oh... er... o-o-okay..." Selina stays silent as they walk, feeling awkward and silly again. She didn't like silence, but what could they talk about or do?

No. It's a sentient being that is just a pet.

"Well, that's certainly Impressive. And disturbing, respectively."
Lucas just sighs, and reaches for a pistol at his side, just in case.

[SOLDIER First]

Lucario walks up to Jorn and examines him.

[Xantalos]

Nevertheless, Jason flies on, apparently. As he looks at the landscape, he'd see the landscape become steadily steeper and hillier, slowly becoming covered with vegetation. The magic effect is at the level where he's only at a third his initial strength when the tiring effect that began about 10 miles back becomes too much for the raven to fly onward. It lands in the midst of a clump of trees, brambles covering the ground all around him.
There's crackling noises coming from the brush around him.

Jason stands up and looks completely calm. The raven disappears as Jason puts the ring away.

"Er... sh-sh-sure..." Selina was a little surprised at the formality, she wasn't very courtly or something... was she?

Several indistinct shapes fade into view at the edges of Jason's vision. He can't quite get a good look at them, no matter how he turns, but they appear to be faintly shaped like wolves. They're standing stock still, as if they're waiting for something.

Jorn just stares at the Lucario.

[SOLDIER First]

Lucario stares back.

"Oh... er... I... I'm n-n-not very c-comfortable... a-a-around n-new people... a-a-and it... t-takes awhile f-for me to... g-g-get used to s-s-s-someone..." Selina sighs a little, why was she so nervous all the time?

Out of his sleeves, Jason drops two separate groups of 10 knives into each hand, all attached to magical bronze cabling. He waits for the wolves to make their move.
