She strikes a kind of pose, and then a very tiny crack forms underneath her, from which a small geyser seems to erupt. The water freezes into a hollow sphere, and Catherine is inside of it.

Nate eventually makes it to the caldera, where Az-Sho is.

"Oooh, magical girls! I always did like Nanoha, hehehe.~"

"...I don't watch anime."

"Suit yourself, random ghost guy."

The ice sphere begins to crack, and some of the water inside leaks out, before it lands in the ground again, and shatters completely. In the middle of the bits of ice, is Catherine, only she's wearing a dress, now. A small rapier forms out of ice in her hand, and she gives a grin.
"Ta da! So yeah, that's what I can do."

Wikus looks completely dumbfounded.
"Y-you guys h-have magic?"

Meanwhile a crowd of people has formed around the caldera and seems to be slowly transmuting into fire people.

"Yep! I sure do!"
Catherine smiles, and just leans against the ice rapier. It's surprisingly sturdy, for something made of ice.

Wikus is confused.
"I have a feeling I just jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire."

Phyliss's response to Wikus is to grab him by the neck and lift him up.

"What kind of crow-begotten fool are you?!?"

Mary appears displeased!

"Ahem. Phyliss. Please put him down."

"@!!!#$$!!!%^^#^$!!!"

"..."

....Phyliss puts him down, albeit not very gently.

Ghost!Mary walks over to Wikus. "You okay?"


Meanwhile, Marie, who is not Mary, and there's another Mary in my headcanon somewhere just to confuse, twirls around.

"Yep, magic in spades~"

The crowd of people finished its transformation into people of fire and wanders off in different directions.

Ashley just observes them. Ever a curious one.

"Marie? Oh hey! What are you doing here? I seriously was not expecting to see you here."
Catherine waves quite cheerfully, and then notices the fire people, and just wonders what they're doing.

They appear to be moving onto the lower slopes of the mountain. They're beginning to construct houses.

Wikus is now completely terrified and speechless.
