Corvus' knowledge should be able to tell him that the potion Silica took to calm down was a military-grade emotion-manipulation substance from Lucinda's world. However, unlike what she thought, it, rather than suppressing emotions, incites a paroxysmal amount of love towards the targeted entity. Hence, its naming as a "Potion of Yandere". Interestingly enough, it generally is used to target weapons, though normally that of an enemy's as the user becomes compelled by their obsession with it to the point of ruthlessly eliminating the hostile possessing it and all nearby enemies so that their "love interest" would e theirs and theirs only. Due to its targeting being willpower-based along with other factors, issues may arise... there was a case where a soldier fled battle due to mistargeting and madly falling in love with a cactus in some sort of desert on the other side of the planet and another where someone became too efficient and killed the enemies long before the effects wore off, resulting in them eloping with a recently stolen rotary pistol. Normally the effects shouldn't last so long, but Silica's specialized body and low willpower seem to be magnifying the duration by a significant quantity.
