There seems to be a layer of static over anything Ashley reads about Alith, like it's not quite compatible with her.

He shrugs and heads over to sit with Marie.

Ashley also sits down. She was having fun with another mind reader around!

((Suddenly seven posts while I"m distracted!))

"Well it's nice to meet you, Mako.

Also hi! Alith! And Ashley."

Marie twirls her umbrella, smiling brightly.

Ashley gives Mako a look, but then forgets it. He's a shark.
"Hello Marie."

"Sorry.
Sort of an instinct, really."

Well, Marie's apparently half zombie. So there's that. That is to say, her left side is deadified/zombiefied. Cue salesperson pose and voice.

"Where would you like your nightmares today?"

Reading Marie's mind may or may not make Ashley go crazy. She's kind of...fragmented. Extremely.

[SOLDIER First]

"What?"

Alith sighs.
"Bugger."
He starts tuning out Marie, lest he start getting hit with her nightmares.

"I since something... strange from your brainwaves.. I'm going to steer clear of that.."

[Twi]

Marie promptly pokes Mako and gives him nightmares straight to the brain. Oh dear. Well, he's going to enjoy sleeping tonight. Or more likely, not sleeping.

How does one scare Mako? I dunno, ask him.

"Good choice, dearie.~"
