He reaches forward and grasps the Silmaril, and immediately begins screaming as his hand is engulfed in white flames.

The flames gradually die down and recede back into the gem, showing his hand scarred with burns. Still in pain, he laughs.

As he's walking out, everyone in the room sees his outline ripple and a faint voice whispers ^{_{Kill him...}}

Vix throws a couple sharpened icicles through the ripple at his eyes.

They impact, and though he keeps going, he's noticeably staggered by them. It might be he's weakened by the Silmaril due to being so damn evil.

He determinedly staggers toward the ramp.

Vix ices the ramp, and drops approximately his weight in snow on the staggering seeker of Silmaril. He also splits off a miniscule fragment of the cryswarm as a separate group to touch the Silmaril and see if it effects alchemical entities.
