The fortress lives (26 dwarves, 7 extatic, 7 happy, 12 content, 3 in recovery)

Another artifact done. An ambush slaughtered by caravan escorts. Outer walls still in construction.
A well is made, although hard to find. The dorfs started using it finally.

As for the FB trapping device I didn't even touch it.

Some stuff from dead traders still lying around trade depot.

The next overseer should dorf Dwarfy as Mebzoth Elshanolul, along with changing the profession to Beastslayer.

I have a question about the fort, so I got a migrant wave with a cavy pup and kitten. They both died by bleeding out 4 days later for some odd reason. Has any forgotten beast have poison power that kills by bleeding out.

Yes. An awful lot of them do. The Dwarves live only by the bounty that is socks (Long may their glory last!) As the extract hasn't touched their skin. The foolish and ignorant animals do not wear socks (bless their existence!) and therefore die from exposure. Truly, socks (The greatest invention of our age!) are a bounty to all wise enough to hoard them like gold!

Since i have been lurking and not really posting, I was going to say you can dorf me as one fo the animals, but they seem to die to poison so scratch that. Dorf me as any dorf you find. The First Dwarf to do something mediocre i'll be that guy!
