The Oreamnos was proving  to be surprisingly even keel so far. Unusual, but welcome nonetheless. Particularly since the horned one had the appearance of a seasoned fighter. CRO-2234-W detected a firearm in a holster on the Oreamnos' person. In retrospect, it was just as well that the Oreamnos couldn't understand his initial faux pas. All the same, juggling languages was going to become inconvenient. He began trying to deduce the meanings of various words spoken by the Oreamnos, and adding them to his vocabulary database.

"Statement: Names Talna and Hawk added to memory. Alias 'Crow' is an acceptable secondary designation. This unit will answer to it." CRO-2234-W said in his electronic voice. "Statement: this unit does not require organic food, but this unit will accompany you. Perhaps an electrical recharge station can be found." Shouldering his backpack CRO-2234-W left his corner and followed after Talna and Hawk.

((Why don't we say Talna just translates without me having to do it, UNLESS you ask her not to for some reason, and that unless I say I am using a specific language, Talna says much the same to both people))

"Statement. Creature identified. Slothen. Often domesticated as pets or for food and furs. Aggressive stance suggests panicked state or territorial dispute." CRO-2234-W said, readying his knife. Even so armed, he didn't like the odds he had of defeating the creature. He was not built for combat. Rather, repair, construction, and dismantling were his primary functions. There might be a way he could use that to his advantage though. This ship was obviously producing artificial gravity somehow. If he could locate a gravity system and disable it, luring the beast into the gravity free zone would provide a sizable advantage.

CRO-2234-W draws his knife, and scans the area for whatever is producing the gravity in the room they're in.
