Otherwise it should be as simple as:
Miguel lancing someone, making sure to canto to his starting spot again
Julius heading to 15,4.
Alec heading to 16,4 and refreshing both of them
Miguel stabbing someone else
Julius heading 16,8.
And everyone else doing whatever else.

Yeah, you're probably right. No matter how much some characters might want some of the NPCs to die in-character, it probably wouldn't be good for us the players if it happened.

Bah. If we had more healing items I'd suggest splitting up - Leo, Sheila, and Candy taking the right staircase with the NPCs and the rest of us taking the lion's share of the healing items and moving left. But we don't have all that many IIRC, so splitting would be way too dangerous. Guess we should dogpile the right stair.
