First-level First Class, don't forget. It's not like we're level 10 or something, we just barely promoted. The lack of stat gains on this map really hurts as well.

Griff was carrying Julia when he got stabbed. This would have given him an extra 15 evade, but that wouldn't have been enough.
HOWEVER! When Griff fell, Julia would have dropped away from the enemies, in the square directly south of Griff! Thus blocking Queen Valerie's advance, and thus leaving Sheldon on his feet!
